Introduction
I am a Writer/Director with experience in the entertainment industry and an English educator with over five years of experience. With Ark Academy's vision, I hope to positively impact young minds. I believe every child is unique and has an innate curiosity and eagerness to learn. I hope to encourage this curiosity by creating a learning environment where my students feel valued, safe, and free to explore, experiment, and learn. I provide a play-based, active learning experience.
Fun Facts about myself are:
I am a storyteller and am currently collaborating with an illustrator in creating children’s story books. In my free time, I enjoy various sports such as yoga, ballet, and climbing.

Hyowon "Hyo" Kim is a director from Seoul, Korea, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Media Art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Experience
Following graduation, Hyo pursued a career as a visual director and production manager in the entertainment industry. During her time in the industry, she was responsible for over 20 visual campaigns for K-pop group BTS.
Hyo's portfolio includes various projects, such as music videos, fashion shorts, documentaries, and films, which have been exhibited commercially and internationally at film festivals, the Seoul Museum of Art and published online.
