PLAN POLICY

Sessions

  • Each plan entails two classes per week, with a maximum of eight classes per month.

  • In months with insufficient days for eight classes, a make-up class will be scheduled on the last Friday of the month.

  • Classes will not be held during Korean public holidays.

  • The schedule for public holidays can be confirmed on our calendar.

  • The plan duration spans a month, consisting of eight classes.

    • If a student enrolls before the first two classes of a month, they can utilize the make-up class to catch up.

    • If a student enrolls after the first two classes of a month, they will need to wait for the following month to commence their classes.

  • Payment is made monthly, based on the date of registration.

Plan Cancelation & Return Policy

  • If a student opts to cancel their class, the current class will continue until the end of the month.

  • Upon cancellation, the purchased plan and associated payments do not continue into subsequent cycles. For example, if a monthly plan is canceled midway through January, it remains active until the end of January but does not renew in the following months. During January, the Plan Status will be designated as "Pending Cancellation."

  • Please note that there will be no refund for the canceled plan.

CLASS POLICY

Class Commencement

  • Classes are scheduled to commence at predetermined times. It is the responsibility of the parent and student to ensure punctual attendance.

  • In case of difficulty joining the Google Meet session, the parent must promptly contact their Sales Counselor for assistance or contact us through KakaoTalk.

  • If a student is unable to attend class due to unforeseen circumstances, the missed class remains non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.

Class Rescheduling

  • If a student's availability changes and necessitates schedule adjustments, the student must submit three (3) alternative class times (Day & Time).

  • Notice of schedule changes must be provided at least one week in advance. Failure to provide one week's notice renders existing classes for that week non-refundable.

  • If the existing teacher is unavailable during the proposed times, a different teacher matching the student's criteria will be assigned, subject to availability.

Teacher Substitute

  • In the event that a teacher is unable to conduct a class, a substitute teacher will be arranged to prevent class cancellations. Substitute teachers are selected from Ark Academy's pool of trained educators based on their qualifications and expertise.
